Some people, I understand, want their toons to get as much exp and loot as possible as fast as possible. All we ask is that you do not expect others to spend their time on your toon. It's your toon. It's cool to get help and work together with people, but don't expect people to stop what they planned on doing to come run you through instances on their high level toons. That's pretty epic fail. -- Unless of course they're heading out anyway and have spaces they might as well fill. That's obviously a different story all together. And everyone's bank and our guild bank posessions don't automatically belong to you based on your needs. If you understand that, all will be well. The guild tripping part was added to extend the rule to cover shit like "So you don't help out guildies in this guild?" Sometimes people are doing shit, and if there aren't many people on, chances are you're on your own for the time being. If someone's free, they'll probably get to you. If they have plans that don't include stopping what they're doing to go all the way to a remote section of old world to kill a quest boss for 1 quest you're doing just for experience, when you could just as easily do any of the dozens of other quests at that level to progress without forcing someone to waste time -- DO THAT. Seriously. 2) Don't be a Dick. This also goes for the officers and guild leaders. Don't just fuck with people in guild, trade, or out in the world in general. There's nothing more frustrating than seeing some fucktard going apeballs and you shift click their name and see your own guild tag. It is a fail fail for the person being a fuckface and the guild associated with them. Make an alt if you're feeling like you have to get into trade or some open channel to be a faggot. That's what I do. Sometimes it's fun. If you're a dick, I guarantee you we will figure it out and you wont be around long. That includes the following: if you're going to come in and say you don't like a certain word -- that's fine. But if it's a profane word, first of all, you're going to have to probably just leave. Faggot, Fag, Queer, and whatever other words that can be used for bashing homosexuals -- are NOT ONLY used in that context. Please. Pay attention to the context that the word is in. If there's a huge fucking wipe and someone's acting like a total prick towards people in their group, and someone in the group says in guild chat "This motherfucknig faggot is about to get kicked out of this group," that has absolutely nothnig to do with sexuality in any way. Understand that, and you'll do great in the guild. Racist, homophobic and generally hate filled peope will not be tolerated and if any of us figure out they're voicing their shit and fucking with people, they'll find themselves out of the guild in no time. So if you're white, black, brown, yellow, gay, straight, bisexual, trisexual, quasexual, bipolar, tripolar, like fucking chickens, prefer to run around naked, worship god, satan, allah or are retarded, go for it. Whatever you want / are. Doesn't matter. But watch context and understand all words can be used in all ways. Don't just freak out over a word if it's not in a context that's bashing you. Got it? 3) No Politics. You hate this, I hate that, we both hate this, we all love this. Fuck it. Keep it out of guild. Maybe this will change later, but everything in America is so god damn polarized you can't even talk about the fact health care is fucked up no matter what view you take on how to or not to fix it, without one or many people getting angry. And seriously, just quit the game. Do you even think about what you're actually pretending to do in this god damn game? Fucking think about it. Hey, this group. All these people, we dont like them. Use your fucking head. 5) Don't cry when people gquit. Sometimes guilds don't work out. Sometimes they do but they want to be in their friends' guild. Maybe they want to go raid. Who knows? Doesn't really matter. If you like them, throw them on your friends list and keep bullshitting and running heroics with them and all you want to do. It's no big deal, just roll with it! 6) No Attendance Requirements. As this isn't a raiding guild where attendance is pivotal for raiding or other related events, we're not going to kick people who haven't been on in a while. Come on every day for 20 hours a day for weeks, then log out for a year. Who gives a fuck, we'll be around when you're around. It's how it works in a worthwhile social / leveling guild.
